How you’ll be treated

Hebron House is a physically and emotionally safe place. It is quiet and secure, has enclosed gardens, provides adequate personal space, is drug and alcohol free and has simple house rules. Residents are responsible for playing their part in the household to the best of their ability, for keeping to the rules and any personal restrictions they have agreed to and for cooperating with the activities and structure of care.

As part of our agreement with you it is important to draw your attention to the fact that we have a policy on resident’s rights which will be respected. Residents have the following rights:

  • To always be treated with respect
  • Confidentiality
  • To see written information in personal files
  • To be free from discrimination
  • To live with freedom from abuse
  • To negotiate own goals
  • Not to be detained against their will
  • To make suggestions or to complain if subject to injustice or offence
